The use of a Drying tube or Desiccant tube is vital whithin the glassware setup of Karl Fischer titration. It allows the Titration vessel to vent air without allowing excess moisture to be introduced.
These Drying tubes, Desiccant tubes are filled with a desiccant like molecular sieve which absorbs any moisture entering yet allows the vessel to vent to atmosphere.
